Uruguay-Finland wood construction cooperation cont Uruguay-Finland wood construction cooperation continues ! 🍀🪵 This time a delegation of Finnish experts made a research trip to Uruguay supported by the program TAIEX of European Union. The pictures are from the seminar organized on Wednesday, where the Uruguayan delegation shared some conclusions of their visit to Finland in August and the Finnish gave presentations in their field of expertise. In the old town of Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, there are several historic buildings with great architectural value. Ciudad Vieja is an interesting urban space due to its peninsula shape and the various views for the Río de la Plata. Workplace of several and the most attractive tourist spot in the city. A culturally diverse neighbourhood with a lot of potential for renovation, protection and revaluation. Visitamos la feria de vivienda en Naantali, áreas de Turku y en Honkasuo y Kuninkaantammi en Helsinki entre otros. El recorrido terminó en Casa Haga y una gran sauna de madera 🙌🏻 Uruguaylaisen delegaation kanssa viikko on vierähtänyt kiertäen suomalaisia esimerkkejä puuarkkitehtuurista ja kestävästä suunnittelusta. Vierailimme mm. Asuntomessuilla Naantalissa, kohteissa Turussa sekä Honkasuon ja Kuninkaantammen alueilla Helsingissä.
